Scholarships Available FPA-SW launched its Scholarship Program last fall, with the first scholarships were awarded in February 2009. The Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students pursuing the Certified Financial Planner™ certification. FPA-SW Recognized at 2009
The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) of Southern Wisconsin was recognized at FPA’s 2009 Chapter Leaders Conference as a Roadmap to Success Recipient. The chapter was honored for its accomplishments and efforts in chapter operations, chapter leadership, community outreach, member outreach, membership development and special achievements. “It’s an honor to be recognized for our achievements,” said 2010 FPA of Southern Wisconsin President, Sarah Ehrhardt, JD. “We’ve worked diligently over the past year to increase our success and service to members and are proud that our efforts have been recognized on a national level.” FPA’s 2009 president Richard Salmen, CFP®, CFA, CTFA, EA, and Chapter Leadership Resource Council Chair Reed Fraasa, CFP® presented the award to Karen Hendrickson, FPA-SW Executive Director, and Liz Pollock, CFP®, FPA-SW 2009 and 2010 Public Relations and Public Awareness Director.
